Angel Outside Pub: Royal Mile
We saw this angel standing outside a pub while walking the Royal Mile, and thought it was worth photographing. The significance of the angel has to do with the loss of whiskey during aging. This loss is called "The Angel's Share."
The Royal Mile starts at Edinburgh Castle and ends Holyroodhouse approximately one mile later; it is called the Royal Mile because of many royals walking between the two sights during the last hundreds of years.
