First Difference Engine at Science Museum

This is the world's first working Difference Engine invented by Charles Baggage in 1821 but never built to full example. The only complete Difference Engine built during Babbage's lifetime was made by Swedish engineers George & Edward Scheutz; they printed the first ever mathematical tables calculated by the machine.
